Participants will be exposed to the power of their thoughts and learn techniques
they can use to harness their own thoughts for growth and success in all areas
of their life. They will experience, first hand, the physical effects of
positive and negative thoughts and begin a plan to change their thinking and
change their life.
Fun and Easy Tips for Stress Management
Participants look at what causes stress, share ways in which they handle it now
and practice additional stress management techniques.
Goal Getting Through Treasure Mapping
Have a great time cutting and pasting pictures of your goals into a collage of
your possible future. Participants will learn the elements needed for a balanced
treasure map, the value of having a visual reminder of their goals and how to
use their treasure map to help maintain focus.
How to Say No Without Feeling Guilty
Too busy? Plate full? Find balance. Take control of your life by learning how to
politely and firmly say no. During this playshop participants will do a
self-assessment to uncover ways to establish a balance between self-care and
caring for others.
Learning The Secret Language Of Success
You are invited to be part of an interactive ‘playshop’ designed to assist you
in raising your awareness of the power of words to create your reality.
Participants will explore the connection of words to moods, self-esteem and
creativity.
Pulled By A Dream
In this playshop participants are encouraged to ask and expect more of
themselves. They will learn how to uncover their personal dreams and how to
support themselves in nurturing their dreams to reality. Participants will
experience the power of being pulled by a dream.
Self-determination: Have more Control in Your Life
Increase your self-esteem and feel more control in your life! Leave this
workshop with a more positive outlook for your future. Walk away with tools that
you can use on your own.
Setting and Achieving S.M.A.R.T. Goals
Learn and practice setting S(specific),M(measurable), A(acceptable), R(Realistic)
&T(time sensitive) goals. Participants will learn about short term and long term
goals before setting goals for themselves and a plan for achieving them.
Stay For The Long Haul
In this playshop you’ll begin by uncovering one of the most prevalent beliefs
held by most adult learners and the how to deal with its fallout. With this
information participants will then get a chance to work on a plan to sustain
learners and tutors over the time beyond the first few months of the
relationship.
